LIMASSOL, Cyprus, 07 Oct 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) – Castor Maritime Inc. (NASDAQ: CTRM), (“Castor”, or the “Company”), a diverse global shipping company, announces that:
The Magic Orion M / V, a Capesize bulk carrier built in 2006, was retained on a time charter contract at a gross daily charter rate of $ 73,000. The charter is expected to begin on or around October 8, 2021 and will run for approximately 45 days.
The Magic Eclipse M / V, a Panamax bulk carrier built in 2011, was retained on a time charter contract at a gross daily charter rate of $ 28,500. The charter started on September 14, 2021 and has a minimum duration of eight months and a maximum duration of ten months (+/- 15 days) at the choice of the charterer.
