Kyle Schwarber had more points in the Nationals win than the Giants scored in all series
WASHINGTON, DC – As the Giants gear up in June, a trip to two cities to face the last-place teams seemed like a place to break the team’s best major league record.
San Francisco’s offense came to an end for much of the trip, however, leaving the pitch and defense for two wins in Washington, but on Sunday that formula failed. Johnny Cueto allowed five points and made one of the team’s two mistakes and the Nationals won 5-0. Kyle Schwarber topped San Francisco’s overall production for the series on Sunday, leading in four points.
